Indian Government announces mega startup gathering ‘Startup Mahakumbh’

In a significant move to showcase India’s booming startup ecosystem, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry under the Indian Government has announced plans to host ‘Startup Mahakumbh’. Scheduled from March 18-20 in Delhi, the three-day exhibition will witness the participation of thousands of innovators from the country.

Announcing the event, Indian Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal stated that Startup Mahakumbh is envisioned as the largest confluence of startups ever held in India. It aims to highlight the entrepreneurial spirit of India’s youth and thriving culture of innovation on a global stage. With over 80,000 recognized startups in India, the exhibition provides a mega platform to network, showcase solutions, and fuel greater collaborations.

International investors and delegates will get a comprehensive view of emerging sectors like technology, healthcare, fintech and their potential. By bringing all segments of the vibrant startup universe under one roof, Startup Mahakumbh hopes to fuel conversations around building an Atmanirbhar Bharat. It promises to be an extravaganza that underscores India’s emergence as a leading startup hub.
