Sustainable packaging startup Bambrew raises Rs 60 crore in Series A funding led by Blume Ventures

Clean-tech startup Bambrew, renowned for its earth-friendly packaging alternatives, has raised a substantial Rs. 60 crore in funding to bolster expansion plans. The company aims to scale operations and bring more eco-conscious solutions to consumers nationwide.

The Series A round was led by prominent venture capital firm Blume Ventures, joined by additional backers including impact investor Blue Ashva Capital. Early-stage angel groups like Mumbai Angels also participated, recognizing Bambrew’s potential to drive meaningful change through sustainable materials innovation.

Founded with a vision to curb dependency on single-use plastics, Bambrew has gained a reputation for developing recycled, compostable packaging made from renewable biomass. This funding infusion will enable broader R&D efforts, capacity building, and distribution network growth to deliver the brand’s green products to more communities across India.

Individual angel investors such as Servify co-founder Sreevathsa P.G., Cashify CEO and founder Mandeep Manocha, and Horizon Industrial Parks President RK Narayan further reinforced their belief in Bambrew’s mission through personal investments at this stage.

By empowering businesses to ‘go green’ through thoughtful wrapping options, Bambrew is paving the way for a circular waste management system nationwide. This substantial Series A round sets the stage for the company to raise the bar on sustainability standards within the packaging sector on a larger scale.
