Women business owners across the region are invited to a full day of learning and networking at the upcoming “Passion to Profit: Women’s Small Business Summit” on March 30. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kingston’s Friedman JCC, offering valuable resources for female entrepreneurs at all stages of business development.
Two women-led nonprofit organizations – Dress for Success Luzerne County and Wild Wellness NEPA (a fund of The Luzerne Foundation) – have partnered to host this inaugural summit focused on women’s business success.
For $55, attendees receive access to all sessions, keynote presentations, lunch, a vendor marketplace, and a closing networking mixer designed to foster connections among women business owners.
Nearly two dozen speakers will lead workshops covering essential business growth topics including Scaling Your Business, Social Media Strategies, and Photography Best Practices. These practical sessions aim to provide women entrepreneurs with actionable tools to help their small businesses thrive.
Understanding the importance of self-care for busy business owners, the summit also features wellness activities throughout the day. NEPA Massage School will offer complimentary chair massages to participants between sessions.
The day begins at 10 a.m. with an opening keynote from Rachel Malak of WBRE/WYOU titled “From ‘Faked It’ to ‘Made It’: The Power of Personal Branding.” During lunch, online influencer and Spiritual Manifestation Coach Latha Jay will address “Overcoming Imposter Syndrome for Business Success.”
“This summit is an incredible opportunity for women to gain the tools, knowledge and support needed to build thriving businesses,” said Melissa Roberts of Wild Wellness NEPA. “When women succeed in business, we strengthen our entire community, and we are thrilled to provide a space where connections are made and dreams are realized.”
Linda Loop, founder and CEO of Dress for Success Luzerne County, sees the event as an expansion of their mission to support women.
