Vietnam Launches National Startup Incubator at Summit 2025

Vietnam’s startup ecosystem received a significant boost with the launch of the ‘National Startup Incubator’ at the ‘Incubator Summit 2025’ event. Thousands of attendees, including government officials, investors, and tech entrepreneurs, gathered at the National Convention Center on August 2 to witness this milestone.

The National Startup Incubator emerges as Vietnam’s first interdisciplinary, multi-layered incubation model. It aims to support tech startups with high potential for sustainable impact. The model offers a stringent selection process, intensive mentoring, and connections to technology, markets, and investors both domestically and internationally.

Tran Quang Hung, Chairman of HUB Network, emphasized the need for a comprehensive coordination mechanism in Vietnam’s startup ecosystem. He stated, “The national incubator creates a corridor that accompanies startups from ideas to the market.”

The event also saw the introduction of the ,HUB Challenge, campaign. This initiative presents a series of challenges for startup groups in various fields such as Fintech, AgriTech, GreenTech, and AI. The program serves as a “practical selection” system to identify and nurture founders capable of thriving in a competitive environment.

Several notable projects were announced during the summit, including Basao Valuation, an AI platform for startup valuation, and InfoRe Technology, offering AI-based digital data and finance solutions.

In a move to expand its global reach, HUB Network revealed plans to establish a branch in the UAE. This strategic decision aims to connect Vietnamese startups with investment capital, technology transfer opportunities, and new markets in the Middle East.

The National Startup Incubator, sponsored by the Startup Agency under the Ministry of Science and Technology, aligns with the government’s vision outlined in the Youth Dialogue 2024.

This event marks a significant step in Vietnam’s startup landscape, fostering a multi-layered connection model between startups, investors, and policymakers. It sets the stage for future national-scale incubation and acceleration programs, nurturing a new generation of globally-minded founders in the digital transformation era.
