The Startup Challenge Powered by Snowflake
Snowflake and NYSE Expand Startup Challenge for Early-Stage Startups
Snowflake, the Data Cloud company, has announced that it is partnering with the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to take its annual Startup Challenge to the next level. The Snowflake Startup Challenge offers early-stage startups building innovative applications and products powered by Snowflake’s Data Cloud the opportunity to get up to $1 million in funding along with other prizes.
Some of the key updates to this year’s Startup Challenge include increased funding for the top startups, additional mentorship opportunities, and a chance to ring the closing bell at the NYSE. The top three finalists can receive up to $1 million in total funding from Snowflake. They will also get guidance from industry leaders at NYSE-listed companies and global exposure through Snowflake and NYSE marketing channels. The grand prize winner will get the opportunity for an iconic moment – ringing the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
Participating startups need to submit their applications showing how they are utilizing Snowflake as a core part of their product architecture. Applications will be accepted until March 1st, 2024. Semi-finalists will then need to submit a pitch video by early April. The top 10 will be announced mid-April and the final 3 winners will be named in May. The overall winner who takes home the $500,000 grand prize will be announced in June after the final pitches.
This expanded partnership with NYSE elevates the already prestigious Startup Challenge and provides unparalleled opportunities for the winning startups to get their innovative solutions in front of major investors and companies. It will be interesting to see what groundbreaking applications leveraging the Data Cloud are submitted.
