Startup Mahakumbh 2025: New Startup Pavilion to Inspire Young Entrepreneurs

A phenomenal initiative at Mahakumbh-2025 aims to spark entrepreneurial spirit among students and youth through a dedicated Startup Pavilion in the Arail area. This first-of-its-kind setup at the Kumbh Mela will bring together approximately 2,000 startups from across India.

Private company Evolife Limited is establishing the pavilion, which will feature startups from twelve incubation centers, including five from Uttar Pradesh. The initiative aims to share essential startup knowledge and experiences with visitors, particularly focusing on school students.

“We want to help people better understand what startups are really about. This platform will create direct connections between aspiring entrepreneurs and those who have already succeeded,” explained Amit Jauhri, a director at Evolife Limited.

The facility, structured like a Trade Fair in a German Hanger, will house over 100 individual spaces for participating startups. A dedicated stage will host successful startup founders sharing their experiences with visitors. The pavilion will operate from January 15 through February end.

The project, estimated to cost Rs.55 crore, awaits presentation to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during his December 23 visit. Following his approval, it could be named the Mukhyamantri Startup Pavilion.

Registration for incubation centers will begin by year-end, with space allocation for startups based on their preferred dates. The organizers are working to bring prominent startup founders including Aman Gupta and Sameer Mehta (Boat), Vijay Shekhar Sharma (PayTM), Sanjeev Barnwal (Meesho), and Kunal Shah (Cred) to share their success stories and interact with young attendees.
