India’s premier engineering institute IIT Madras has raised the bar for startup support with the launch of a transformative new resource. Developed by IIT Madras’ renowned Centre for Research on Startups (CREST), the ‘Incubators’ portal is set to revolutionize how founders engage with incubation programs nationwide.
Dubbed “Incubators”, the platform brings IIT Madras’ reputation for innovation to the fragmented Indian incubator landscape. With over 1000 active incubators across the country, startup founders previously had to spend countless hours digging to uncover each program’s unique strengths.
No more – Incubators streamlines the process. Users can now efficiently search, filter, compare and contact any incubator in India from the prestigious IIT Madras’ single hub. Detailed profiles provide insights into funding opportunities, mentors, portfolio companies and more. Bookmarking tools let founders shortlist top options for deeper investigation later.
According to CREST director Dr. Thillai Rajan of IIT Madras, the right incubator is critical to a startup’s success. “Incubators provide invaluable support during the highly uncertain early stages,” he notes. “This platform empowers founders to identify programs perfectly suited to their specific needs.”
Following the portal’s debut launch in Hyderabad, chief guest Dr. Jayesh Ranjan lauded IIT Madras’ leadership, noting its potential to strengthen regional ecosystems nationwide.
With Incubators powered by IIT Madras, India’s entrepreneurs now have an elite new ally in their quest to launch innovative ventures. With a few clicks, aspiring founders can embark on personalized incubation journeys destined for success.
