The Adani Group recently hosted the third edition of their flagship Green Talks event, providing a stage for innovative social entrepreneurs working to drive sustainable progress across India. Held on December 15th, Green Talks 2023 shone a spotlight on five startups tackling big issues through cutting-edge solutions.
As one of India’s fastest-growing conglomerates, Adani understands the vital role startups play in unleashing new ideas and technologies. Their Green Talks program aims to nurture this entrepreneurial spirit, helping founders bring visionary concepts to life. This year’s event connected the global social enterprise community while accelerating efforts toward the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
In his opening remarks, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani praised the courage of young innovators resolving societal challenges through business. “India’s thriving startup ecosystem, with its many unicorns, is what will power future growth,” he said. The Adani platform was offered to test solutions in real world settings.
Five selected startups then pitched their ventures, ranging from green mobility to digital inclusion. Dveck Mobility wowed with a simple EV conversion kit transforming any bicycle into an electric model within minutes. Haqdarshak also impressed with its tech platform increasing access to public services for underserved communities.
By spotlighting such impactful ideas, Green Talks continues inspiring a wave of solution-oriented ventures. Their innovations could go on to drive wide-scale change by bringing sustainable practices within everyone’s reach.
