BUILD Startup Festival 2025: Mapping Tech’s Past and Future

The Philippines’ largest startup event, BUILD Startup Festival 2025, will take place on April 15-16, 2025, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. The festival aims to analyze the past decade of startup growth while setting the stage for future innovation.

Hosted by Sinigang Valley Association, Inc., this two-day gathering will bring together over 10,000 tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers. The event will feature more than 200 exhibitors and 100 speakers from various industries.

“The Philippine startup community has grown substantially over the past decade. We’ve witnessed the rise of unicorns like Mynt, and we’re excited to see what the next decade holds,” said Prim Paypon, President of Sinigang Valley Association.

The festival will focus on five main tracks: industry-specific challenges, startup community building, funding landscapes, artificial intelligence integration, and business strategies. Each track will include panel discussions, keynote speeches, and networking sessions.

An innovative feature of this year’s festival is the Community Day, which will allow participants to connect with regional tech communities through various activities. The event will also host the PH Startup Awards, celebrating achievements in the local tech ecosystem.

“We want to create an event that not only helps founders and investors network but also inspires the next generation of entrepreneurs,” added Paypon.

The Philippines’ Department of Trade and Industry and Department of Information and Communications Technology are supporting the festival as part of ongoing efforts to boost the country’s startup ecosystem.

Registration for the event is now open at the official BUILD website. Early bird tickets are available until December 31, 2024.
